learn about the many and varied
aspects of French culture, based on language and
grammar but also in a more
general way through literature, newspapers,
history, cinema ...
- You will
improve your language ability by studying a variety
of original
documents.
- You'll
learn to speak fluently and to write accurately.
- You'll
work with great efficiency to prepare for the DELF and DALF
tests.
Group courses are split into two categories depending on
your goals,
your availability and your budget :

groups of levels:
complete
beginners / A1 / A2 / B1 / B2 / C1.
Levels: from A0 to
B2
- absolute beginners (A0) to
A1: no
prerequisites
- from A1 to A2: have a level A1 in
French
- from A2 to B1: have a level A2 in
French
- from B1 to B2: have a level B1 in
French
- from B2 to C1: have a level B2 in
French
You will take an
online placement test upon registration to determine which group will best fit
you.

The minimum period
of time for taking courses is one week.

Intensive morning course
from 1 week to 15 months 15h/week on site
Levels: from complete beginners (A0) to B2
- from complete beginners (A0) to A1 : no pre-requisite
- from A1 to A2: have the level A1 before starting the course
- from A2 to B1: have the level A2 before starting the course;
- from B1 to B2 : have the level B1 before starting the course;
COURSE FOR COMPLETE BEGINNERS :
This course is meant for absolute beginners who have never been in contact with the French language. This course requires literacy.
Please note that this is a French language learning course, not a literacy course.
It is essential to start this course from the beginning of the session.

A placement test will be required for each future learner in order to place them in the approriate group.
- Classes run from 9:00 to 12:00, Monday to Friday
- 15 hours per week, i.e. 60 hours per month
- Super Intensive Formula: 5 additional hours of learning activities per month
- You can start anytime provided you are not an absolute beginner
- Registration minimum one week. Courses last between 1 week and 15 months depending on your goal
- Price: up to 13€ for 60 minutes class (you can benefit from discounts if you stay longer than 4 weeks)

Once you have registered with the Alliance Française Annecy, you will receive a pre-registration or registration certificate which you will need to enclose with your visa application.
Afternoon classes
sessions of usually 1 month and a half 4hrs/week on site
Levels: from complete beginners (A0) to B2
- from complete beginners (A0) to A1: no pre-requisite
- from A1 to A2: have the level A1 before starting the course
- from A2 to B1: have the level A1 before starting the course
- from B1 to B2: have the level A1 before starting the course

- Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:00 to 3:00 pm
- 4 hours per week
- 5 sessions from September to July, with a break for school holidays because the course was originally meant for Au Pairs.
- You can start anytime provided you are not an absolute beginner
- Registration minimum one week.
- Price: 14€ for 60 minutes class (you can benefit from a discount as of the second session)

Towards registration form afternoon course
Course for preparing a C1 level

- pre-requisite: have the level B2 to start the course

- Session of 7 weeks
- 4 hours per week
- Price: depending on the number of hours per session (15€ for 60 minutes class)
- The course opens up only when there is a group of minimum 3 learners registered.
