Watercolour exhibition Méandres et détours

Passionate about learning, Martiosh discovered watercolour with the aim of painting her travel journals.

 

She immediately fell for its instinctive aspect and the fact that it was practical to carry!

 

So she combined her passion for water sports with a series of soothing watercolours on this theme, somewhere between travel sketches and studio painting, true to the “notebook” style.

 

Later, she opened up to modern watercolour techniques, letting go and playing with the medium's unpredictability: new perspectives for creation and exploration!

 

For this new exhibition, Mathilde aka Martiosh invites you to take a look at her paintings at the Alliance Française d'Annecy from October 28 to December 20.

 

She'll take you into her world, at once gentle and colourful, decorative or engaging, in the mountains, on a lake or amidst the foliage - as a tribute to nature and a call to protect and preserve it...
